WAIKATO CUP 2023
A new competition for 2023, based on the Nations Cup which was held in Tauranga last year. The Waikato Cup is an inter-cluster competition based on the 7 clusters in the Waikato Region. Each cluster will provide a male and female player in the below grades, a total of 20 players per cluster. All players can register to be part of their cluster via email to manager@squashwaikato.co.nz

Div 2 - B2 grade, C2 grade, D2 grade, E2 grade, J2 grade
If two or more player in the same grade and cluster register to play Waikato Cup, the player with the higher points will be selected, with the second highest being a reserve. If a cluster cannot provide a player in a specific grade, then they are eligible for an import from another cluster.
The competition will take place inbetween interclub rounds on the following dates:

REFEREE RESOURCES
For those of you keen to upskill your club members in becoming more confident referees, Squash Waikato can help run a referee night at your club in time for Winter Interclub. These are a great opportunity for everyone to refresh themselves with the rules of squash and get a qualification at the same time. I would highly recommend clubs take this opportunity to run one or even combine with other clubs in your cluster to run a joint referee night.
The resource Squash NZ recommends and has moved to is the World Squash Officiating Level 0 and Level 1. It is a free resource, and you can complete it here.
