The Waikato Squash Junior Coaching squads are designed to work in partnership with its member clubs, to deliver a coaching programme that gains the respect of other districts through the outstanding performances of its athletes both on & off the court.
The goals of the coaching programme are:
Produce successful performances at National Senior, Junior, and Masters Teams event competitions.
Maintain a healthy base of players from which District representative teams can be selected.
Have Waikato players routinely competing on the national circuit.
Have Waikato players gaining selection to National Squads.
Develop a network of qualified and experienced coaches who have the ability and enthusiasm to deliver quality programmes to players and achieve successful outcomes.
Squash Waikato has a strong focus on developing players at a range of levels, from beginner to elite.To assist with this we offer three squads for Juniors, Development Squad, Junior Elite Squad & Junior National Elite (JNE) Squad.

Players involved with the Squash Waikato Junior Coaching Programme also get the chance to be selected to represent Waikato at tournaments throughout the, including Junior Triangular Series (Auckland / Waikato / BOP), which is to be held in Auckland at Harcourts Eden Epsom & The Junior Nationals, which is to be held in Palmerston North at SquashGym in 2011.
As part of the Junior Coaching squads players have access to additional support and assistance at tournaments throughout the year by Squash Waikato coaches and representatives. C
